Amid the trade war between Seoul and Tokyo, demand for overseas travel to Japan plunged in August compared to a year ago..<br />According to data from travel agencies Hana Tour and Mode Tour,... sales of travel packages to Japan fell on year respectively by 77 percent and 83 percent.<br />Hana Tour said sales of overseas tour packages overall also declined by 31 percent on-year despite the peak season... not only because of the Japan situation but also Hong Kong.<br />For Mode Tour, sales of overseas tours were down 29 percent.<br />
